FORTE CRESCITA SU ENTRAMBE LE DIVISIONI: SEMI E A&D

Todi (PG), 20 febbraio 2024 - ELES S.p.A., società quotata su Euronext Growth Milan, e fornitore mondiale di soluzioni per il test dei dispositivi a semiconduttore (IC Integrated Circuits) con applicazioni Automotive e Mission Critical rende noto che in data odierna il Consiglio di Amministrazione ha esaminato i dati pre-consuntivi relativi ai ricavi delle vendite consolidati, non sottoposti a revisione contabile, per l'esercizio chiuso al 31 dicembre 2023.

I Ricavi delle Vendite Consolidati del Gruppo Eles, sono pari a 32,8 milioni di euro, in crescita del 26% rispetto ai 26,1 milioni di euro del 31 dicembre 2022.

Francesca Zaffarami, AD di ELES, dichiara: "Chiudiamo il 2023 con una forte crescita e in linea con le nostre previsioni. Nonostante il contesto di mercato sfidante, il Gruppo ELES ha realizzato nell'anno una significativa crescita grazie al suo posizionamento sulle applicazioni mission critical e sull'aerospace e defense. Si chiude un anno importante dal punto di vista dello sviluppo commerciale che pone le basi per guardare al 2024 con grande fiducia. Dopo aver puntato al consolidamento nel 2022 e aver dimostrato la resilienza della nuova offerta nel corso del 2023, siamo ora pronti a cogliere le nuove opportunità di crescita (anche per linee esterne) che il 2024 potrebbe presentare."

• Divisione Aerospace & Defence

I ricavi della Divisione A&D (Aerospace & Defense) ammontano a circa 10,7 milioni di euro, rispetto ai 5,3 milioni di euro del periodo precedente, e rappresentano il 33% dei ricavi totali. Il contributo dell'acquisizione di CBL Electronics S.r.l. (entrata nel perimetro di consolidamento a partire dal 1° ottobre 2022) è stato di circa 8,8 milioni di euro (in tal caso, i ricavi di Gruppo al 31 dicembre 2022 sarebbero ammontati ad Euro 30,1 milioni).

• Divisione Semiconductors

I ricavi della Divisione Semiconduttori sono cresciuti del 6% nel periodo, in controtendenza rispetto al settore di riferimento (-16% mercato globale ICs Automated Test Equipment, Source: SEMI (www.semi.org), Dec 2023), grazie al posizionamento del Gruppo nei segmenti di mercato mission critical e alla maggior resilienza nei settori: Automotive, A&D, AI e High Performance Computing.

L'Automotive rimane l'end market principale ed è sostanzialmente stabile rispetto al periodo precedente e sullo stesso si prevede una nuova crescita nel settore a partire da un'inversione del trend dal secondo semestre del 2024.

I ricavi dell'end market Industrial crescono del 40% rispetto al periodo precedente sostenuti dalle prime consegne ai nuovi clienti acquisiti nel corso del 2023 e dalla solida domanda per dispositivi legati principalmente ad AI, High Performance Computing e Data server.

La quota dei ricavi della linea Test Applications, che rappresenta il fattore distintivo di Gruppo e che consente attraverso la metodologia RETE di consegnare al cliente risultati a supporto di una maggiore competitività, è cresciuta del 20% nel periodo sostenendo la crescita della divisione Semiconduttori, mitigando la contrazione registrata sulla linea Test system (-10%) ed a conferma dell'anti-ciclicità della offerta. I ricavi di tale linea si attestano ad Euro 13,4 milioni circa e sono pari all'41% dei Ricavi delle Vendite. La crescita è stata trainata dall'incremento della domanda nei settori Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, AI ed High Performance Computing.

Permane forte l'incidenza dell'export, pari al 50% dei Ricavi delle Vendite Consolidati, sebbene il consolidamento della nuova società acquisita abbia rafforzato il peso del mercato nazionale.

STRONG GROWTH IN BOTH DIVISIONS: SEMI AND A&D

Todi (PG), 20 February 2024 - ELES S.p.A., a company listed on Euronext Growth Milan, and a worldwide supplier of solutions for the testing of semiconductor devices (IC Integrated Circuits) with Automotive and Mission Critical applications, announces that today, the Board of Directors examined the unaudited consolidated sales revenue figures for the year ending 31 December 2023.

The Eles Group's Consolidated Sales Revenues, amounted to Euros 32.8 million, up 26% from Euros 26.1 million

as of 31 December 2022.

Francesca Zaffarami, CEO of ELES, declares: "We close 2023 with strong growth and in line with our forecasts. Despite the challenging market environment, the ELES Group achieved significant growth during the year thanks to its positioning in mission critical applications and aerospace and defense. This marks the end of an important year in terms of business development, which lays the foundation to look forward to 2024 with great confidence. Having focused on consolidation in 2022 and having demonstrated the resilience of the new offering during 2023, we are now ready to seize the new growth opportunities (including external lines) that 2024 may present."

• Aerospace & Defense Division

Revenues from the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Division amounted to approximately Euros 10.7 million, compared to Euros 5.3 million in the previous period, and represented 33% of total revenues. The contribution of the acquisition of CBL Electronics S.r.l. (which entered the scope of consolidation as of 1 October 2022) amounted to approximately Euros 8.8 million (in which case, Group revenues as of 31 December 2022 would have amounted to Euros 30.1 million).

• Semiconductors Division

The Semiconductors Division's revenues grew by 6% in the period, bucking the industry trend (-16% global ICs Automated Test Equipment market, Source: SEMI (www.semi.org), Dec 2023), thanks to the Group's positioning in mission critical market segments and greater resilience in the Automotive, A&D, AI and High Performance Computing sectors.

Automotive remains the main end market and is broadly stable compared to the previous period, with new growth expected in the sector from a trend reversal from the second half of 2024.

Revenues in the Industrial end market grew by 40% compared to the previous period supported by the first deliveries to new customers acquired during 2023 and solid demand for devices mainly related to AI, High Performance Computing and Data servers.

The share of revenues of the Test Application line, which is the Group's distinguishing factor and which enables, through the RETE methodology, to deliver results to the customer in support of greater competitiveness, grew by 20% in the period, supporting the growth of the Semiconductors Division, mitigating the contraction recorded on the Test System line (-10%)and confirming the anti-cyclicalityof the offer. The revenues of this line amounted to about Euros 13.4 million and accounted for 41% of Sales Revenues. Growth was driven by increased demand in the Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, AI and High Performance Computing sectors.

The export share remains strong at 50% of Consolidated Sales Revenues, although the consolidation of the newly acquired company has strengthened the weight of the domestic market.
