Vanessa Panzeri was forced into prematurely leaving the field during yesterday's Under 19 match against Roma in the Viareggio Women's Cup, after sustaining an injury to her knee.
After undergoing examinations today at J|Medical, it has been confirmed that the player has picked up an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament of her right knee. She will undergo surgery.
